Facebook wants to be your one stop shop for all things internet, and with several new features, it's aiming to make daily tasks a little easier.
First up: Recommendations. Now, if you post asking friends for an opinion -- maybe on a new hair salon or daycare -- you can toggle on the "Recommendations" feature.
Facebook says the post will then highlight people’s recs as they comment, and stick them on a map with more details about each specified location -- helping you make a decision.
The social media giant is also making reservations easier to book.
The company says in a blog post that on company pages, you’ll soon be able to request an appointment time. The company will then confirm via Facebook Messenger.
Pages for movies will also start letting you purchase tickets right from the page -- that’s thanks to a partnership with Fandango, according to Facebook.
Buying tickets on events pages is expected to follow with an assist from Ticketmaster and Eventbrite.
