(WXYZ) - WXYZ-TV is pleased to announce the addition of Ronnie Dahl, Andy Choi and Nima Shaffe to the 7 Action News Team.
Ronnie Dahl returns to WXYZ where she worked as special projects producer for the 7 Action News Investigators.
Most recently, Dahl was a reporter at WJBK-TV in Detroit. Dahl has also worked as an investigative reporter at Channel 13 in Toledo, Ohio; a weekend anchor at WUPW-TV in Toledo and a reporter at WSYM in Lansing, Michigan.
Andy Choi joins the WXYZ team as a multi-media journalist. Choi comes to Channel 7 from WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin where he was a reporter and anchor at the number-one rated station in the market. Choi won two Emmy Awards in 2012 from the Chicago Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Broadcasters. He has won national and regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as first and second place awards from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. Choi is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Nima Shaffe comes to WXYZ from KCTV-5 in Kansas City. As a general assignment reporter, he covered the massive tornadoes that struck Joplin, Missouri in 2011. Nima has also worked as a multi-media journalist and reporter at KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska; KKTV in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Ronnie is currently reporting for WXYZ. Andy and Nima will begin with 7 Action News in early April.
