Oakland County teacher suspended amid allegations of misconduct involving student

BEVERLY HILLS, MI (WXYZ) - A teacher at Groves High School in Beverly Hills has been suspended as police investigate allegations of misconduct involving a student.

Groves High School is in the Birmingham Public School District and the following was sent to parents via email on Wednesday:

Recently, a Groves staff member was placed on administrative leave. As this remains an open investigation, please respect the standard of confidentiality we must maintain for all involved in this matter. Further, please respect that staff members are not briefed on matters while the investigation is open. Thus, they cannot provide information for you. I assure you that when information can be shared, I will communicate with you.

Detectives with Beverly Hills Police tell Action News they cannot comment on a open investigation.

Action News has left messages for teacher at his home and by phone. He has not responded.
