Once again, it’s time for Channel 7’s Community Comments. Our station editorial about the Red Wings playing their final game at Joe Louis Arena prompted a lot of memories. Ann Collins’ favorite was:
“The game where Paul Coffey got his 1,000th assist. This was before he became known as wrong way
Coffey. "
Brenda LaLande said:
“My sister and I went to The Joe and saw Sergi Fedorov score 5 goals in one game.”
Shelley Kury wrote:
“My favorite memory is having formal dinners with the Wings on the ice back in the 80’s.”

“It’s a place where octopi fly and banners line the rafters.”
Gerald Mcginnis’ favorite Joe moment wasn’t a Wings game. It was “…An AC/DC concert.”
Our Editorial and first Detroit 2020 Town Hall Meeting in Macomb prompted a lot of buzz on social media.
