(WXYZ) - A judge sentenced the owner of the former Asian Village in Detroit to federal prison Wednesday.
Andrew Park had pleaded guilty to tax evasion, and as part of a cooperation agreement, helped the feds prosecute former Kwame Kilpatrick aide Derrick Miller.
Miller is expected to testify in the Kilpatrick Corruption Case.
The U. S. Attorney says Park paid Miller a bribe, which was shared with Kilpatrick, to get a favorable vote from the pension board for a loan for the Asian Village restaurant.
The pension funds lost its $2.75 Million investment, and the restaurant failed.
A federal judge sentenced Park to one year in prison, and he has to pay the IRS more than $300,000 in taxes owed.
