Police investigate alleged abduction, sexual assault of Detroit woman

Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault and abduction Saturday night in a commercial area on Detroit's east side, police said.

It happened at about 6:40 p.m. in the area of East Milwaukee and Orleans, near East Grand Boulevard and Russell Street.

Police said a 24-year-old woman was riding her bike when she was allegedly abducted and raped by two men in a white van.

The men allegedly drove around the area before bringing the victim back to the area.

The Detroit Police Department Sex Crimes Unit are searching for possible surveillance video to determine exactly what happened.
