Police investigating possible triple shooting on Detroit's east side

A large number of police are the on the scene of a possible triple shooting on Detroit's east side.

It happened on the 3700 block of Devonshire, near Outer Drive and Mack Ave., early Thursday morning.

Witnesses say, three young people have been hit and were taken to the hospital. They are all believed to be men in their 20s.

We talked to a victim's mother who says her son was shot in the leg and the other victims may have been hit in the back.

She says her son was in the backyard with several friends when they came out front and were shot. The victim's mother reports her son was shot in the leg and hand and two other were shot in the back.

It is not known if there is more than one shooter.

So far, no arrests have been made and no further details have been released.
