Police searching for suspect in robbery of Detroit business

Detroit police are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect wanted in connection to a robbery on the city's east side.

The incident happened on October 16 around 4:35 a.m.

Police say the suspect appeared to enter the front door of the business in the 2900 block of Russell using a key code and forced open a safe once inside.

The suspect then took items from the safe including an undisclosed amount of money, according to authorities.
