LIVONIA, Mich. (WXYZ) - Former Congressman Thaddeus McCotter arrived at Livonia District Court just after 11:15 Thursday. He will soon take the stand today in the petition signature scandal that kept him off the reelection ballot.
There hasn't been much action from the McCotter camp since two of his campaign staffers were implicated in a the scandal. One was his former District Director Paul Seewald.
Today McCotter will be called to the witness stand to testify in their preliminary exam.
According to Seewald's attorney, McCotter will back up his story that Seewald didn't know he was signing off on fabricated petitions with fake signatures.
