ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) - GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's running mate Paul Ryan campaigned in Michigan at Oakland University in Rochester Monday night.

Superstar Kid Rock introduced Ryan at the rally which began at 7 p.m.

Ryan took the stage to thunderous applause and began a point-by-point attack on President Obama.

Ryan says that a Mitt Romney administration would create 12-million new jobs.

The GOP Vice Presidential nominee took a light tone at times, talking about Big 10 country, the Tigers and the industrial Midwest, saying his hometown is a lot like Detroit.

On the deficit, Ryan warned Obama's reelection would turn the U.S. into Europe.
