Jim Blanchard & Ronna Romney-McDaniel: Michigan supporters stump for Presidential Candidates

DETROIT (WXYZ) - With the finish line in sight, the battle for the White House is in full force.  Nationally, the presidential race is neck and neck.

In Michigan, according to the latest WXYZ/Detroit Free Press Poll, President Barack Obama has a slight lead.  However, one of Mitt Romney's staunchest supporters believes the Republican nominee's home state is still up for grabs.

In an exclusive interview on 7 Action News at Noon, former Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard and Ronna Romney-McDaniel joined Spotlight on the News host Chuck Stokes to discuss Michigan's economy, creating jobs, the future of the auto industry, and the role of women in this year's election campaign.

Romney-McDaniel is the niece of Mitt Romney and the granddaughter of former Michigan Governor George Romney.

She is also the Chairwoman of Michigan Women for Mitt.
