Almost six months after a suspicious fire caused heavy damage at acclaimed Corktown restaurant Katoi, the team behind the restaurant is now hiring and preparing to open.

In a post on social media, the team said "WE'RE BACK!" and that they are looking to hire bartenders, bar backs and bar preps.

Anyone interested in those positions can email their credentials to pompa.drew@gmail.com.

They also said if you're not interested in working at the bar, they probably have a position for you, and ask to message courtney@katoidetroit.com.

The restaurant went up in flames early one morning in February, and investigators found the back door had been forced open and a tote bag full of liquor by the back door.

Many restaurants in Corktown gathered after the fire to raise money for owners.

The Detroit Free Press named Katoi the No. 1 restaurant in Detroit just eight days before the fire.
