Program helps mentor Detroit youth
(WXYZ) - In a city where too many young people are getting killed or spending the rest of their lives behind bars, there is a glimmer of hope.
Hope generating by one group of men fighting to keep young boys from a life of crime.
It is called the 180 Program and it provides students from 3rd grade to 12th grade with mentoring and tutoring to help change the student's attitude, behavior and performance in school.
