Prosecutor won't file criminal charges against State Treasurer Andy Dillon in domestic case

(WXYZ) - The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office issued a statement Thursday to announce that no criminal charges would be filed against State Treasurer Andy Dillon in a domestic case.
Dillon's ex-wife, Carol Dillon, accused of him of assault outside of a home she was staying at in Redford Township back on July 13.
The Wayne County Prosecutor's office investigated and determined there was not enough evidence to seek domestic assault charges in the case.

Carol Dillon, the ex-wife of State Treasurer Andrew Dillon, filed a complaint alleging that, on July 13, 2013, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Mr. Dillon assaulted her outside of a house where she was residing in Redford Township. On July 15, 2013, the Redford Township Police Department submitted a warrant request to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegations. After a thorough review of the evidence, it has been determined that there is insufficient evidence to file criminal charges. The warrant request has been denied.
