(WXYZ) - Citizen complaints prompted a police raid at a popular Highland Park adult entertainment club.
Early Sunday morning, nearly 100 law enforcement officers with several different agencies, including Highland Park, Detroit, and MSP, conducted a raid at the Deja Vu club on Woodward Ave. Police seized drugs, weapons and cash from the establishment. Around a dozen people were taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Officers conducted the raid following complaints of underage dancers, underage drinking, illegal drugs and prostitution. The investigation is still on going.
Right now the club is closed due to building code violations. Action News left a message for the club's attorney but we have not heard back.
