(WXYZ) - The 20th Anniversary of the Concert of Colors, sponsored by the Ford Foundation, is making its way into Midtown Detroit Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 15.
A food truck will offer diversity-themed menus as George Clinton, Wu Man, Eric Jacobsen, Don Was and many more grace the stage with their music.
Venues include the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Max M. Fisher Music Center and more. The concert features music styles from jazz to gospel.
Crafts for the kids, a puppet slam and belly dancers are just a few of the highlights of the event that focuses on the music of the Motor City.
Entry into exhibitions and displays is all free and most artists are family friendly.
