DETROIT (WXYZ) - Some faulty traffic lights have made for dangerous driving along a busy Detroit roadway.
There were some very close calls Thursday and it's been a problem for days.
City officials have known about the problem and say it's not going to be a quick fix to get the lights working properly.
Traffic lights have been out for four day along East Jefferson near downtown Detroit. There have been multiple accidents.
7 Action News reporter Ronnie Dahl spotted a Detroit city crew on East Jefferson near Mt. Elliott. She wanted to ask the workers when the lights would be working again.
When they saw the 7 Action News truck they took off.
At last check crews are at the intersection to tackle repairs and say its a priority.
