AFSCME Council 25 files objection to Detroit's bankruptcy case

DETROIT (WXYZ) - AFSCME Council 25 has filed an objection in federal court to Detroit's bankruptcy case.
The union questions the eligibility of the city to file for bankruptcy.
Council 25 President Al Garrett told reporters during a Monday afternoon press conference that Governor Rick Snyder and Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr are required by law to negotiate 'in good faith" before filing for Chapter 9.
Garrett says that never happened.
