DETROIT (WXYZ) - Thousand of people will gather in Downtown Detroit this weekend for GM River Fest. The 3-day family fun fest is taking place June 20- 22, 2014 along the Detroit riverfront.
River Days has something for everyone including games, rides and activities for kids of all ages, food and live entertainment. Among the national acts scheduled to perform this year include Black Street, Mary Mary and Keith Sweat.
Festival times are as follows:
- Friday: 11 a.m.-11p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m.-10p.m.
Admission ranges from $3 to $5. Children under 3 and seniors over 65 can attend the event for free. Ride tickets are 50 cents each or $17 for a full-day ride wristband.
