Bobby Ferguson served subpoena leaving federal court

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Bobby Ferguson's legal troubles took another turn for the worse Wednesday afternoon as he and his co-defendants; Kwame Kilpatrick and his father Bernard left the federal courthouse in downtown Detroit.

As the trio left the courthouse for a brief recess, Ferguson was served a subpoena to testify on matters relating to his company Ferguson Enterprises.

Ferguson is ordered to appear in 3rd Judicial Circuit Court on September 6, 2012. The 1st Source Bank is looking to repossess three Kenworth Tractors from his company.

A process server by the name of George Sawaya claims to have given Ferguson the documents, however the documents fell to the ground. Sawaya says he then placed the documents under Ferguson's arm, however the papers fell to the ground again.

Sawaya says his employer who he did not wish to name instructed him to leave the documents on the ground. His co-worker had a copy of the documents and allowed a 7 Action News crew to photograph them.
