Bomb scare at Detroit branch of Federal Reserve after dog detects explosive residue on truck

DETRIOT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Police Bomb Squad was called to the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve after a security dog detected explosive residue on a truck.

However, the all clear was quickly given after it was determined that the truck in question had previously been used to deliver fireworks.

The facility is located at 1600 E Warren, just east of I-75.

The branch is part of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. It is responsible for sorting and disbursing cash to area banks.
