DETROIT (WXYZ) - Burn, a documentary about the Detroit Fire Department is set to premiere in metro-Detroit theaters tomorrow.
The film tells the story of many Detroit firefighters as they battle the city's flames.
One of the subjects is Detroit firefighter Brendan "Doogie" Milewski. A wall came crashing down on Milewski in 2010 as he was battling flames at Jefferson and Drexel. That incident left him paralyzed.
Burn is set to open at AMC Forum 30 and AMC Livonia 20 Friday but has already been shown at various theaters across the country.
Milewski and Dave Parnell, a 33-Year veteran of the Detroit Fire Department, stopped in our studio to talk about the film.
