A carjacking victim is speaking out after having a gun pointed at her head and being forced to hand over her car keys.

The victim was in the driver's seat, when she thought her life might come to an end. Soon after, that carjacker was casually out buying gas with her car.

Surveillance video shows the alleged carjacker at the Exxon station on Greenfield south of 7 Mile.

He’s buying gas for a burgundy colored Chevy Impala on Saturday morning at about 6:00 a.m.

The stolen car belongs to a victim too frightened to show her face on TV.

She says just prior to the video, at about 5:00 a.m., she had a gun pointed at her head by the man and an accomplice.

It happened right around the corner from the Exxon station and, she says, the carjackers also stole her purse.

She hopes they get caught before someone else is victimized.

Detroit police want to hear from anyone who can identify that man on surveillance video or help recover that car.
