(WXYZ) DETROIT - At the Christian Community Baptist Church, some water is flowing out of the water faucet, but the drinking faucet is nearly dry and the bathrooms aren't functioning without a little help.
They are having to get water from the baptism pool to flush the toilets.
It's believed the church's water pressure problem started outside, with a water main break. It happened in January.
Since then, they've been trying to make do, but filing the buckets of water to use the bathroom facilities weeks on end is getting old.
Someone from Detroit's Department of Water and Sewerage has been here and placed a barricade over the water break. Since then, nothing.
After we made some phone calls, help may be on the way. A spokesperson for the department sent a crew to inspect the problem Friday afternoon and said it will be fixed Saturday.
