Court trustee seeking Detroit retired & active employees for committe to negotiate cuts

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Here's the latest on Detroit's bankruptcy.

The court trustee is now actively seeking Detroit retired and active employees to be on a committee to negotiate cuts in pensions and health care.

Judge Steven Rhodes still has to decide if employee pensions are protected by the Michigan constitution against cuts.  

The emergency manager says pensions are underfunded by $3 1/2 billion and health care in retirement will have to come from the new national affordable health care act, also known as Obama care.
