Crain's Detroit celebrates the 20 rising stars in their 20s

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Every year, Crain's Detroit picks 20 people in their 20s who are rising stars within the metro Detroit community.

The 20 people have different entrepreneurial success stories in Detroit, along with lots of great women and minority success stories too.

Bryan Barnhill, 27, Timothy Bassett, 29, David Colman, 26, Jessica Daniel, 29, Daniel Ellis, 26, Erika Eraqi, 28, Michael Evans, 27, Adam Finkel, 27, Tatiana Grant, 29, Gregory Holman, 29, Ryan Hooper, 25, Sean Jackson, 25, David James, 23, Alisyn Malek, 28, Brent Ott, 29, Mary Sheffield, 26, Michelle Srbinovich, 28, Daniela Tomatti, 29, Jesse Vollmar, 25 and Evonne Xu, 25, are this year's class of Crain's twenty in their 20s.

They will celebrate their success with an event on Thursday, June 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Garden Theater.

The event will feature Three Takes on Detroit with three past honorees giving their perspective on doing business in Detroit, an awards presentation and a strolling dinner.

Tickets are $45 each, with 20 in their 20s alumni only having to pay $35. Groups of 10 or more only cost $40.
