DETROIT (WXYZ) - The restaurant scene just got bigger Downtown Detroit and there is a big name behind it.
Dan Gilbert is at it again, doing things for Detroit.
Today, his company Bedrock Real Estate services gave invited guests a taste of four new restaurants opening in the city's central business district.
They include "Wright and Company", run by the owner of "Sugar House" and the former head chef at MGM Grand's Wolfgang Puck, will open on the 2nd floor of 1500 Woodward and Mike's Kabob Grille now open in the Chrysler House.
We caught up with the owner of another of the establishments, farm to fork salad restaurant "Seven Greens", who is proud to bring her business back home.
The fourth restaurant is freshii in 1001 Woodward.
This was the recruitment celebration and while Mike's Kabob Grille is now open in the Chrysler House, the rest are expected to open this summer and fall.
