DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - A DDOT bus driver is in police custody right now, accused of driving drunk on the job.
Police say the man was driving his bus along east Warren, near 3 Mile, around 10:40 Tuesday night.
Witnesses say the driver actually hit a parked car and just kept on going. A passenger said he thought the driver looked drunk so he got off the bus and called 911.
Police then were able to catch up with the bus driver near Wayne State. When they pulled him over, they say the bus driver blew more than a .20.
He was arrested on charges of operating while impaired.
