DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr's team and city retirees are set to get together for two additional meetings.
Wednesday's meeting were met with anger and frustration because of Orr's demand for secrecy. Those in attendance were told they have to sign confidentiality agreement to get access to the numbers.
"I said 'no,' this is not a matter of being off record, this needs to be public. The public should know what's going on," said UAW attorney Michael Nicholson Wednesday. He continued "They're keeping it all from you and they want to keep it all from the retirees and the employees of the city of Detroit."
An attorney representing Detroit city workers says they were also told what is discussed inside the meeting is off the record.
