Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announces health care enrollment locations

(WXYZ) - The deadline to sign up for health care coverage in March 31.

If you log onto healthcare.gov , you can shop among different providers and find out if you qualify for financial assistance.  That can be tax credits or expanded Medicare.

If you are confused, there is plenty of help and information.

Five Detroit fire stations have offered to help residents on Mondays and Wednesdays.  There are also people on the main floor of Detroit City Hall every day through the end of March.

There has been as much rhetoric as reality connected to the Affordable Care Act also known as Obama Care.

Some people think the system has been closed down with votes in Congress to shut it down.  That is not true.

But the website healthcare.gov was delayed and continues to have temporary glitches.
