Detroit Police ask for help finding missing 67-year-old man with dementia

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing 67-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

John Allen Freeman, Jr. was last seen by his wife on Saturday, August 2 at around 7:00 p.m. He left their home in the 20500 block of Asbury Park to visit his brother who lives in Maryland.

Freeman was making the trip by car. He was driving a 2013 Silver Ford Edge with Michigan license plate 9CRQ77.

Freeman is 6'1" tall and weighs around 190 pounds. He has brown eyes and salt and pepper hair with a goatee. When last seen he was wearing a Burgundy polo shirt, gray dress slacks and black shoes.

Aside from his dementia, Freeman is in good physical condition.
