DETROIT (WXYZ) - There are new developments in the case of 12-year-old Charlie Bothuell.
He's the child was found in his parent’s basement after he went missing for more than a week.
The case could come to a head this week.
The FBI has scheduled a forensic interview this Tuesday with Bothuell. That could then lead to charges as early as Wednesday, according to the Detroit Police Department.
Charlie's stepmother and father are the ones under investigation. They have stayed out of sight today.
Charlie, meanwhile, is currently staying with relatives in an undisclosed location.
