Detroit Police Chief James Craig addresses what neighborhoods can do about crime during forum

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police Chief James Craig was among those taking part in a conversation about what neighborhoods can do to help police fight crime in the city.

The forum took place Tuesday night in the Boston-Edison district.

It is part of a series of public meetings put together by city Councilwoman Mary Sheffield in her district. She says she's constantly getting calls about crime in the city.

Neighborhood police officers were also in attendance at the forum.

Chief Craig says it's important for people to know them and report crimes, no matter how major or minor the crime may be.
