Detroit Police Department ask for help to find a missing man with Alzheimer's disease

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing man with Alzheimer's disease.

Johnny Lloyd has been missing since around noon on Saturday. Police say the 80-year-old was last seen when he left his home in the 11300 block of Stockwell to put air in his car.

The home is in the area of Whittier and Hayes on city's far east side.

Lloyd is 5'7" tall and has brown eyes and salt a pepper hair, with a full beard and mustache. He was driving a blue 1998 Ford Crown Victoria.

Lloyd was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue striped shirt and blue jeans.
