Detroit Police dig near home of murdered woman as search for her children continues

Police were searching in and out of the home where 27-year-old Alicia Fox was last seen leaving in late May with her two children. Six-year-old Kaylah Hunter and 8-month-old Kristian Justice are still missing today.

This is the third time since Monday a missing children's task force consisting of Detroit Police, FBI, ATF and Michigan State Police have searched the west side block.
The missing boy's father, Erin, was questioned then released by the FBI in Georgia Tuesday remains a person of interest today.

And Kayla's father, Kevin Hunter released this statement: "Each day my baby girl is not here, a piece of my heart is ripped away.  My only want is that she and her brother are found."

Detroit Police requested an Amber Alert, but it did not meet the criteria. However, detectives are treating the search with the same urgency, asking for the public's help.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig is expected to hold a press conference on the investigation Thursday morning.
