DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr speaks out for the first time in three weeks since he has been running Michigan's largest city.
He talks about the mayor and city council power as they start a new budget, a controversial proposal from a consultant to make big cuts with city council.
The interview by 7 Action News Reporter Jim Kiertzner also covers improvements in police, fire and other city services and a question about a conflict of interest with his former law firm Jones Day that represents Bank of America Merrill Lynch who holds Detroit municipal bonds.
