DETROIT (WXYZ) - A fire at a home in northwest Detroit is being called suspicious.
Firefighters battled the fire on Fielding Street, just south of 7 Mile, this morning.
The home appears to be unoccupied at this time.
The heat of the fire melted the siding on the homes to either side of the home.
The cause of the fire isn't know. However, officials are calling it suspicious. They say the home caught fire twice overnight. The first was very early this morning, followed by the fire that started shortly before 7:00 a.m.
