Jogger on Detroit's Dequindre Cut Greenway fighters off attacker with knife

Police are trying to track down a man who groped a woman while she was jogging on the Dequindre Cut in Detroit.

The victim scared her attacker off with a knife.

It was all captured on video by e a nearby surveillance camera.

The woman can be seen jogging on the Dequindre Cut when a man in a gray hoodie runs up behind her. He then circled her and grabbed her bottom.

The victim, armed with a knife, swung it at her attacker and he took off.

The incident happened Monday, September 26, at around 10:30 am.

Once the 44-year-old victim was safe, she reported the attack to police.

The suspect is described as a 25 to 30-year-old black man with a dark complexion. He was seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, with blue and yellow gym shoes.
