DETROIT (WXYZ) - The jury in the Kilpatrick corruption case has gone home for the day - due to one of the jurors becoming ill.
Also, this morning, members from Bobby Ferguson's defense team dropped off more exhibits for the jury to review during deliberations.
The eight women and four men are deciding the fate of former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, his father Bernard Kilpatrick, and Ferguson.
The men are charged with racketeering – accused of running a criminal enterprise out of city hall.
The jury started officially deliberating last Tuesday. They are not expected to make a quick decision, since they have five months of testimony and nearly 1000 exhibits to review.
Deliberations are expected to resume tomorrow.
