Do you like hip hop and R&B? Better yet, like throwbacks? Greater Media launched a new radio station Friday afternoon just for you.
The All New 105.1 The Bounce will feature throwback hip hop and R&B songs from the 90's and 2000's. Artists like 2Pac, Ice Cube, Drake and Rihanna will all be featured on the station.
Greater Media Vice President and Market Manager Steve Chessare is excited about the new, unique format being added to the Motor city.
Buzz Knight, Greater Media senior Vice President of program and development, echoed Chassare.
"We're thrilled that our great Detroit cluster is adding a new brand for our audience and our customers," Knight said.
105.1 is celebrating the new format by playing 10,000 songs in a row.
A new on-air lineup will be announced in the near future.
