Police have identified a person of interest after the body of a man was discovered inside a home used as a community center on Detroit’s west side.

We spoke to the founder of the unified minds project who discovered the body of a white male earlier this afternoon on the second floor of the community center on the 7300 block of Dexter.

Andre Ali Morgan says he showed up to his community center earlier this afternoon to check on two men he allowed to sleep here last night and then made a gruesome discovery.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The man Detroit police are looking for is Antonio Stone.

Police released a picture of the man who they say is wanted in connection with the death of a white male said to be in his mid to late 40s.

As for Morgan, he says he opened the center late last year in hopes it would be place to rest for those in need.

With the recent death of someone inside, he’s considering shutting the doors for good.

Back here live, if you’ve seen or know the whereabouts of Antonio Stone, you are asked to call police.
