DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police say they have impounded a car in connection with the double fatal hit-and-run accident that killed two Detroit Tigers' fan favorites.
Officers have not said where the car was found. It is in the custody of the Detroit Police Fatal Squad.
Police say the car, a 2003 White Cadillac, is not the primary vehicle involved in the accident.
Officers say they believe that car is a dark colored Dodge Avenger. That car is believed to be the vehicle that hit and killed James Van Horn and his friend Dreadlock Mike as they walked down the street.
While both men were well known for the presence around Detroit sporting events, Van Horn was especially well known for his chants of 'Eat 'em up Tigers.'
