Witnesses are still on edge after hearing more than four gunshots Wednesday night near Margareta and Grandville on the city's west side.
They tell us kids were outside when a gunman shot two guys at a vacant lot, killing a 26-year-old.
Angela Dixon ran outside, eventually calling 911. She also claims she saw the gunman running from the area.
She tells us, "Devastating to me. My kids were outside, riding their bikes. Never seen anything like that."
Investigators canvassed the scene for hours, focusing for a while on a gun left behind.
The other man shot went to the hospital.
Witnesses believe the gunman walked up on the two guys, firing shots.
At first, Dixon thought someone was having fun with fireworks.
Police are looking for the gunman who ran away from the scene in a black hoodie.
Right now, we don't know the condition of the other man taken to the hospital.
