During the several hour standoff, officers employed the help of negotiators and family members to persuade the suspect to exit the home peacefully to no avail

Around 4:30 a.m. they deployed tear gas into the home. Four hours later bomb squad officials in full gear, and a robot entered the home, detained the woman and brought her out. She is now undergoing a psychological evaluation.
