Public invited to see 'Transformers 4' autobots on display in downtown Detroit, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

DETROIT (WXYZ) - What does Optimus Prime look like in person? Today is the day to find out! The public is invited to see some of the characters from 'Transformers 4' today as it films downtown.

7 Action News has learned that Optimus Prime will be at the corner of Clifford and Adams from 2:30 through 5:30 p.m. today.

The public is invited to come see some of the Transformers "autobots" at that location, including the new 2014 Bumble Bee Concept Chevrolet Camaro.

The Michigan Film Office has said the state approved a $20 million incentive for 'Transformers 4.' The movie is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg.

It's set for release next summer.
