SOURCES: Bone fragments found during FBI search on Detroit's east side

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Sources are telling 7 Action News that bone fragments have been recovered during a search at a business near the Coleman A. Young International Airport.

According to our sources, the search is being conducted by the FBI.

Records show that the building is connected to a business named International Biological, Inc. State and City records show that the business is owned by Arthur Rathburn. Records show that Rathburn also owns several other properties in the area.

The property that is being searched is in an industrial area and has barbed wire around the perimeter.  Lights on the side of the building illuminated two blue tents next to the building.  Flood lights sat near the tents as well as black trash bags and large cardboard boxes filled to the brims.  A black unmarked car seemed to be keeping guard.  We know they have been out there for at least the past two days.

7 Action News left several messages with International Biological, Inc., but no one as returned our calls.  We went to an address listed for Arthur Rathburn in Grosse Pointe Park but no one answered at the home.  There is a for sale sign outside the house and when we called the number on the sign it was another number for the company.

When contacted, the FBI would not comment on the search.
