DETROIT (WXYZ) - A man has been charged in connection to the attack on a 64-year-old man at a gas station on Detroit's northwest side.
Maurice Abraham, 27, was arraigned on several charges Friday including: Armed Robbery, Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm and Resisting Arrest.
Abraham is suspected of robbing the 64-year-old victim and stabbing him multiple times on Saturday, May 11. Video surveillance shows the attack. Two witnesses stood by without intervening.
The video also showed the victim trying to fight back and protect himself. That victim is in the hospital recovering from the attack.
