TI Film Festival attracts filmmakers from around the World to Detroit

The 7th Annual Trinity International Film Festival has become a signature event in Detroit for independent filmmakers. Featuring 35 Independent Films from 12 countries (India, Canada, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Australia, China, Italy and the United States). This year's event will take place on September 20-21, 2013 at the beautiful Carr Center, in Harmonie Park ( 311 E. Grand River, Detroit, Michigan 48226).

The Opening Night Film Mixer: Friday, September 20th, 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Free Movie Screenings: Saturday, September 21st, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Closing Night Awards Ceremony: 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Trinity Film Coalition (TFC) Film Festival was co-founded by Detroit based independent filmmakers 2007 and renamed the Trinity International Film Festival in 2013. Now in its 7 th year, this festival continues to provide a platform for artists around the world to showcase their films, network and gain access to viable industry resources.
Over the years 60 local and national filmmakers and have awarded sponsored prizes provided by Sony. In previous years, winners of our "Best Short Film" category have aired nationally on the BET and locally on MY TV20.
The TFC Film Festival has hosted industry professionals locally and nationally to share their knowledge and expertise in various workshops and industry discussions. Special guests have included famed Actress and Producer, Tangi Miller, Syndicated Radio Host and Film Producer, Russ Parr, and Former BET Executive Producer, Ralph Scott, currently with the Aspire Network (Owned by Magic Johnson), film segment producer/head of production for more than 100 episodes of SNL, Tanya Ryno and Writer, Director, Qasim Basir.
