Treats in the Streets returns to Detroit Historical Museum today

DETROIT (WXYZ) -   Ghosts and goblins, beware!  After a year away due to the Museum's extensive renovations, Treats in the Streets returns on Sunday, October 27 from Noon to 3 p.m. and is free for all! 

   The fun will take place in the Detroit Historical Museum's signature Streets of Old Detroit exhibit. Children 12 and under are invited to celebrate Halloween and go back in time in a fun and family-friendly environment. The fun will also include free refreshments, the magic of The Amazing Clark, ventriloquist Richard Paul's "Ha Ha Halloween" show and making spooky craft to take home. All are encourage to come in costume, be it your favorite superhero, entertainer, or historical figure.

   The Detroit Historical Museum, located at 5401 Woodward Ave. (NW corner of Kirby) in Midtown Detroit, is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for all, all the time. Parking in the Museum's lot is $5 at all times.
