Two Westland families desperate for answers after car their missing sons were in is found in Detroit

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Eighteen-year-old Jake Kudla and seventeen-year-old Jourdan Bobbish have been missing since Sunday night when they went out together in Jake's car.

The vehicle was found the next day abandoned in Detroit.

The boys' families are sick with worry, fearing the worst.

"Please anyone with information about Jourdan contact us," said his Grandma though tears.

On Tuesday, family members went to the neighborhood where the car was found and put up flyers. They also searched empty buildings and knocked on doors.  The people in the neighborhood on Beechwood near Lidsdale helped and hugged the familes.

Detroit police did arrest two men on Monday near the car.

However, the men reportedly told officer they saw the abandoned car and were stealing parts off of it.  They are still being questioned.

Family members say since the boys went missing there has been no activity on their cell phones or credit cards.

The families have filed missing persons reports both in Westland and Detroit. Anyone with information is asked to call either police department.

Family members say it's not like either of these teens.  Jake mother says he is always home for dinner. Jourdan's mother says he is a good kid who is about to start his senior year of high school. She also say he stays close to home or is at Jake's house.
